Two Overland sleepers A Former Victorian Railways BRS Snack Bar/Economy 48 seat compartment type sitting car: BRS 225 and another Overland sleeper all now owned by West Coast Railway are shown here stored awaiting possible future restoration in the companies Ballarat East Workshops. BRS 225 was later outshopped from the West Coast Railway Ballarat East Workshops in September 2001 after having undergone a major overhaul as part of a major upgrade of the West Coast Railway Carriage Fleet. This included: Repainting the exterior paint scheme from the V/LINE Tangerine orange and grey paint scheme to the West Coast Railway blue white & grey Livery. (BRS 225 was last given a repaint in the V/LINE Tangerine & Grey Livery in 1992). This major overhaul also involved replacing the original V/LINE brown/orange cloth seat upholstery with the West Coast Railway blue/grey cloth seat upholstery fitting of new West Coast Railway Blue/White curtains and the laying of new grey carpet & installing a new retention toilet in the place of the original drop-chute toilet.
