The "1100" class cars were converted from existing side loading wooden cars. The end compartments were converted to provided extra standing room and the baggage compartment was located in the middle of each car.

Side loading wooden baggage car seating 40 passengers in 4 compartments.

-	Built Islington as side loading car. May have been "98".
1941	Rebuilt as suburban side door with guards compartment, seating 40 second class passengers.
c.1950	Renumbered "1101".
-	End compartments were converted to extra standing room.
1956-1959	Written off.
