S sheep wagons -- S 306 to 325

Sheep wagons, 35 feet long built by "J.S.Bagshaw and Sons" and coded "S".

A number of the wagon were converted to "V" coverted vans. This appears to have been done by simply removing the middle deck and lining the walls with galvanised iron.

Sheep wagon, 35 feet long built by "J.S.Bagshaw and Sons" and coded "S".

26.6.1918	Converted to Mobile Butchers van for use on Tea and Sugar. Body consisted of half box car "V 258" and half sheep wagon "S 308", the other half of each of these vans was used in "SA 258".
