Narrow gauge covered goods vans, which were classified "NVB" and allocated road numbers 766 through 816. The body was built by the South Australian Railways and the underframe was supplied by the Commonwealth of Australia Land Transport Board.

The Central Australia Railway received 41 vans with the remaining 10 vans being sent to the North Australia Railway.
