NGSD Open wagons -- NGSD 200 to 314

Narrow gauge Open wagons, which were classified "NGSD" and allocated road numbers 697 through 720. These wagons were all originally Western Australian Government Railways "GC" class open wagons, numbers 277, 402, 1052, 4369, 6394, 6944, 7139, 7431, 7604, 7675, 7708, 7979, 8004, 8016, 8020, 8470, 8580, 8627, 8865, 9667, 9863, 9924, 9964 and 10253 which entered service on the North Australia Railway in late 1940 and early 1941 Numbers were orginally officially allocated in the range 697 to 720, however it would seem that they were never known by these numbers. Later, the Commonwealth railways allocated numbers in the range 200 to 314 in lieu of the original ones. This later range included a further 84 other ex WAGR "GC" class wagons, making a total of 108 eventually in used on the North Australia Railway.

Additional wagons purchased in February 1942 were "GC" class 157, 274, 339, 399, 590, 1390, 2083, 4131, 4242, 6380, 6475, 6481, 6619, 6673, 6699, 7290, 7358, 7376, 7429, 7538, 7564, 7572, 8040, 8044, 8287, 8294, 8327, 8461, 8504, 8516, 8589, 8714, 8786, 8911, 8965, 9207, 9508, 9692, 9865, 9892, 9980, 10244, 10256, 10311, 10319, 10325, 10395, 10458, 10499 and 10569. Followed by 774, 1047, 1394, 1438, 4068, 4915, 6606, 6728, 6919, 6988, 7262, 7318, 7938, 7966, 7985, 7997, 8395, 8478, 8673, 8675, 8773, 8855, 9026, 9028, 9049, 9184, 9185, 9188, 9236, 9252, 9282, 9472, 9782, 10002, 10012, 10378, 10465 and 10482 in May 1942blc
